Life transformation vs. religious rules: The goal @ EPFMC is not behavior management. Here, everyone is in process and we want to offer grace and support as God transforms lives. Acceptance vs. judgment: We know everyone comes in with a variety of backgrounds including brokenness and imperfections. We want you to feel accepted here. Dialogue vs. being right: Regardless of how difficult your questions may seem, we want to dialogue with you. There are a lot of barriers that keep people from God, let’s talk! Fun vs. boredom: We want to laugh, live and learn together. Action vs. mere words: Many people talk about serving, we prioritize it. If you have a need, we want to be part of the solution. Authenticity vs. pretense: Real life, real issues, real solutions. Let’s just be real!

We are an older church with a younger mindset. We value our long and rich heritage but also honestly want to evaluate our future and our impact on the city. As we worship God in our service, we experience upbeat contemporary and traditional music, laugh a little, deepen relationships, and creatively communicate with each other. We hope you will join us!
Free Methodist Denomination: "The mission statement of the Free Methodist Church is to make known to all people everywhere God's call to wholeness through forgiveness and holiness in Jesus Christ, and to invite into membership and to equip for ministry all who respond in faith." (as stated at Free Methodist Church.org ) |

The Three E's Engage those who are in the Community thru service and those who are spiritually Curious thru authentic dialogue and appropriate events geared for them. Establish those who are Convinced about their faith and those Committed Christ followers to take root and grow in their faith. We will help them walk thru the process of spiritual growth thru appropriate classes, service opportunities, and D-teams.
Equip
the CORE in our church to have
the right tools to be effective in the church and in their world.
Our desire is to cut people loose and let them minister. You have an
idea? We are here to help you implement! |
